Good Afternoon AMY NW families,

I hope you are all doing well. As I mentioned at the beginning of the week are posting the schedules for live instruction that begins on Monday, May 4th. There is a separate posting for each grade level. The expectation is that students follow their schedules daily Monday-Thursday. Friday, they will have team meetings with all of their teachers to talk about the week, catch up on things and participate in other team/ class activities. This Friday are asking all students to join the Friday class meet for their homeroom at the times listed in the document for their grade level. During this meeting on Friday the students will be joined by all of their teachers and they will learn more about what next week will look like etc. Our hope is that it puts the students at ease moving into next week. We will also post a general online etiquette letter to all students grades 6, 7, and 8 at the end of the week. This will include reminders about actions that should and should not occur inside google classrooms and meets. Essentially we want the students to follow school rules for the remote learning as they would in the classroom. Please review the schedules posted for your students grade with your students as it has information for you and them to know what to do and expect next week. As well as this Friday May1st for the homeroom meet. This is very new for everyone please do the best you can and reach out if you need help. I personally am learning new things about google every day. I have mentioned to the staff our keys to success are going to be flexibility and communication. We hope the schedules we have created will help with the flexibility allowing students to access learning via live time with the teachers, posted videos of the new content, and daily open office hours Monday – Thursday. Friday will be by appointment as we have the Friday meetings with each homeroom. Again, please reach out if there are any questions or concerns. Take care and Stay safe.
