Commencements Information

Our 8th grade Commencement ceremonies will take place on Thursday, June 12th at 9am in the AMY auditorium.  Each student will be given THREE TICKETS for guests to attend this activity (this does not include the student themselves).  Please be advised, YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED WITHOUT A TICKET, due to the limited seating capacity.  All eligible students will take part in this ceremony to mark their moving on from AMY to their chosen high school. Please be advised there is a dress code that students must adhere to as part of our AMY tradition.

Attire options include:

  • Black or White suit with a black or white shirt and tie
  • Black, White or Cream colored dress
  • Heel height should be appropriate, for safety reasons, as students will be walking down the aisle, as well as up stairs and across the stage.
